• America 250

So... the United States of America is currently celebrating its so called 250th anniversary at the nation's founding. It is said that, 250 years ago, the founding fathers from the thirteen colonies had written down the grievance they had to the king, and declared that the colonies would be separated from the empire, and to be "the land of the free." Worth celebrating... not. In Congress, July 4, 1776 The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America, When in the Course of human

• Keep Android Open

A small thing, but, as a reminder: even if you don't care about politics, politics will still care about you. And if you care about Android being an open platform, spread it out. Last Edit: 2026-02-25 02:55

• On Moving Stuff Around

The post before (here) was the first page, and the first few text written on on this blog. I decided to move the text into here to let the page itself better for more important information, possibly including the "Series" of posts on Trilium Notes. (More collection than a series, I suppose.) I don't think I would make that many "breaking" changes, and I hope that I don't have to do something like this. One more possible breaking changes, I suppose, would be to let each posts to relocate at sub-d

• Trilium Notes (Database)

Trilium Notes is the first knowledge-managing application I use systematically, and it would be hard for me to move out of now. Although, to be clear, not because Trilium Notes holding my data as hostage (it stores information on local SQLite database, before you ask), but... it is kind of it stores information on local SQLite database. I agree that storing everything on a flat file system would be better to ensure that I don't have to rely on Trilium Notes to access my note, but SQLite is proba

• A New Reality

You know it was intentional of me to write the yesterday post as such, since, as you know, there is a little news story about minor diplomacy exchange by force. I'm sorry to you (and myself) that there is still a reality out there, and I think it speaks something that, after February 22nd, something like just isn't as interesting anymore. And I am tired of this interesting time. Last Edit: 2026-01-04 20:38

• A New (Personal) Reality

It seems like I am not used to the new situation here, as I also use Trilium Notes offline for more of a personal use. Of course, writing is pretty much a given requirement for being a educated human, and it needs to be really special person to not being able to write anything after years of school, homework, and tests. I have my fair share of my writing practices, and being able to write not in the language I speak is certainly a thing to be proud12. It is more of a "requirement has changed" so

• Another Corner

YouTube is probably the only social media I constantly visit nowadays. Saying that is a little bit weird, since I only consider a place for me to find informational videos or creators. Yes, pulling the lever of the slot machine that is the main page really is inefficient, but... well, it feels like the chance of actually getting something out of it lower quite a lot, making the entire endeavor pretty much worthless. You probably don't need me to tell the reason, but in case if you don't, you can

• Everything has its start.

2026, another year. And after renting apartment for the last year and a half, it seems fitting for me to rent a little place on a corner of the internet. The property of this blog will be more of the office than an apartment, though. More of the front lawn than inside the house. Last Edit: 2026-01-02 11:04
